Our hotels are open for business and ready to welcome you. In order to protect our guests as well as our teams, we have implemented very strict hygiene and safety measures.
Health and hygiene measures
The health and safety of our guests and team members is of utmost importance to us. Here are some additional hygiene measures we have implemented in our hotels, over and above our already high standards:
Mask: Wearing a mask in indoor public spaces is mandatory in all our hotels.
Contactless check-in and check-out: Our protocols have been revised to ensure you a contactless arrival and departure. Protective screens have also been installed at each hotel’s reception desk.
Physical distancing: Signage has been placed in all common areas to ensure the recommended physical distancing guidelines are respected.
Hand sanitizer: Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed in several areas throughout each hotel, including at the main entrance, reception area, elevators and fitness room.
Cleaning products and protocols: Our hotels use cleaning products and protocols that have been approved for combating viruses, bacteria and other pathogens.
Secure rooms: To assure that your room is not contaminated, you are the only individual(s) who will enter it during your stay. All rooms are left vacant for the recommended period before being cleaned and reassigned, in accordance with our enhanced cleaning protocol.
Public spaces and common areas: The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in all common areas, with extra attention given to high-contact surfaces.
Training of team members: All employees have been trained in safety and sanitation protocols as they apply to COVID-19, including proper hand washing techniques. The wearing of personal protective equipment (masks and gloves) is mandatory for all employees in positions that require it.
Our protocols are continuously updated as new information becomes available, and in accordance with government directives.
We understand that plans sometimes change. Your reservation can be cancelled penalty-free until 4 pm on the day you’re scheduled to arrive in all Germain Hotels establishments, with the exception of Le Germain Hotel & Spa Charlevoix, where you can cancel your stay until 48h prior the day of your arrival.
