STACEY MASSON IS PROMOTED TO SENIOR DIRECTOR, NATIONAL MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS STEVEN ROSS JOINS THE TEAM AS PROJECT MANAGER, COMMUNICATIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA
At a key moment, as the company is undertaking full national expansion, Christiane Germain, co-president and co-founder of Groupe Germain Hospitalité is proud to announce the promotion of Stacey Masson to senior director, national marketing and communications and Steven Ross to project manager, communications and social media.
“With her integrated approach to communications and meticulous attention to detail, Stacey has proved a valuable asset to our organization since her arrival in 2012 as national director of communications,” said Christiane Germain, co-president and co-founder of Groupe Germain Hospitalité. “I have no doubt that in trusting her with the dual role of marketing and communications, we can continue to evolve our banners and distinctive products in all markets across Canada.”
Stacey is now responsible for the marketing and branding on a national scale of the company’s two banners, Le Germain Boutique-hotels and ALT Hotels, as well as the management of all internal and external company communications.
She has accrued solid experience through leadership positions in the public and private sectors. A graduate of Concordia University, in 2012 Stacey chose to marry her expertise in communications to her passion for travel and design by joining Groupe Germain Hospitalité. At the same time, Stacey became a volunteer chef de mission at Public Relations Without Borders, an organization that works with populations struggling to overcome developmental challenges.
Steven Ross, has recently joined the marketing and communications team at Groupe Germain Hospitalité in the role of project manager, communications and social media.
“Steven’s savoir-faire in communications and his innate sense of customer service provide the ideal expertise needed to take charge of communications and social media for Groupe Germain Hospitalité,” adds Stacey Masson.
Earning a bachelor in public relations from UQAM, Steven developed his proficiency in corporate communications and media relations at a Montreal public relations firm. He subsequently held a position as press officer in the video game industry, in which he took charge of social media, also serving as the link to local and international press.
