A Foodie itinerary
Some days are meant for slowing down and savouring every detail — from beautifully crafted dishes to elegant spaces that make you feel at ease. This is my idea of a day well spent in Toronto, filled with thoughtful flavours and places that balance sophistication with warmth.

I always start my morning at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen. It’s one of Toronto’s most beloved brunch spots. I never skip Veda’s Choice — soft poached eggs, buttery croissant, and just the right touch of comfort to begin the day.

After brunch, I like to take a walk along Ossington Avenue, one of the city’s most creative streets, lined with independent shops and small cafés. Then I wander through Trinity Bellwoods Park, a peaceful green escape where locals love to spend their mornings.

For lunch, I head back downtown to Black + Blue, a sleek and modern steakhouse known for its refined dishes and service. I’d recommend the bento box if you want a bit of everything, or the wild mushroom risotto — rich, earthy and perfectly balanced.

In the afternoon, I stop by NOBU for a drink at the bar. The space is elegant but inviting, and their lychee cocktail is always my pick — refreshing, fragrant and perfectly mixed.

For dinner, I make my way to SARA, tucked just off King Street on Portland. The ambiance is calm, minimal and stylish. I always go for the New York striploin, a dish that’s both refined and comforting — the kind that lingers in your memory long after you’ve left.

To end the evening, I like heading up to Lavelle, one of the city’s most iconic rooftop lounges. Sip a cocktail, take in the skyline, and enjoy the city lights before returning to the hotel.
