A recap of the key moments that shaped the holiday season, along with the Germain family's wishes for the new year.
Le Germain Hotel Calgary, Alt Hotel Calgary University District and Alt Hotel Calgary East Village wrapped up the year together, with a photo booth that stole the show and captured unforgettable memories.
A similar photo booth wadded to the fun at Le Germain Hotel Toronto.
Le Germain Hotel Toronto MLSQ had a pizza party to honour the housekeeping team and also took the opportunity to distribute this year’s holiday gift: Germain Hotels charcuterie boards.
Creativity was in the air at Alt Hotel Toronto Airport, with a cookie and gingerbread house decorating contest that got everyone into the holiday spirit.
The teams at Le Germain Hotel and Alt Hotel Ottawa celebrated together and even Santa dropped by to enjoy the holiday fun. A special touch from the Alt team: a homemade “Guess Who?" game!
The team at Le Germain Hotel Montreal dazzled at a Casino Royale night, where elegance, casino games, and cocktails took centre stage!
Alt Hotel Montreal wrapped up the year in style with a jam-packed program: a staff party, an event with Tourisme Montréal, and a Christmas door decorating contest, where teams decorated the doors leading to their offices.
At Le Germain Hotel Quebec the team gathered for their traditional group photo, a festive keepsake to celebrate the end of a successful year full of shared moments!
On December 21, the team at Alt Hotel Quebec celebrated the holidays at Tapas & Liège, creating lasting memories in a cozy setting.
Meanwhile, the team at Le Germain Charlevoix Hotel & Spa had a blast celebrating at the Baie-Saint-Paul Bowling Alley.
Some of the Alt Hotel Saskatoon team also took time out to capture the holiday spirit with a group photo.
The guests service team at Alt Hotel Winnipeg had an amazing evening with gift giveaways and awesome decorations in the lobby! Their year-end party on January 31 surely was a lot of fun!
Alt Hotel Quartier DIX30 had a Y2K themed party that brought the 2000s back to life and got everyone into a retro vibe!
On the other side of Quartier DIX30, Escad Hotel hosted a James Bond 007-themed night that transported everyone into a world of glamour!
Our colleagues at Alt Hotel Halifax had a great time with a painting contest – the creativity was definitely flowing!
Looks like the team at Alt Hotel St. John's had such an epic time on January 12 that even the cameras couldn’t keep up! No photos to prove it, just unforgettable memories!
Caroline Kirouac from the Quebec Services Centre made the holidays special with a one-of-a-kind project: a gingerbread desk, crafted with the help of her little elves.

The holiday season is also the perfect time for generosity, and our teams across Canada showcased this beautifully by giving back to their communities in various ways.
On December 17, it was “Giving Tuesday" in Calgary for our three hotels! Santa Claus made a special visit for a photo session open to the community and a donation was requested in exchange for each photo. Tyler and Adam donated the funds raised to the Ronald McDonald House, while Shay and Nadia delivered toys to the Luna Centre to support children facing tough situations. Lastly, they held a food drive with all donations going to the Mustard Seed, a non-profit organization.
At Le Germain Hotel Toronto MLSQ, the team organized a donation drive for LOFT, an organization supporting those in need. They also provided furniture to The Housing Help Centre as part of their renovation.
On December 13, the Alt Hotel Montreal hosted a food drive for the St-Antoine 50+ Community Centre. and organized a festive activity that allowed participants to connect with seniors who are often isolated and facing challenges.
At Alt Hotel Ottawa, the entire team played a key role in supporting a family that recently arrived from Algeria through a mutual contact, Jose. They provided mattresses, a microwave, and other essentials to help the family settle in.
Our Alt Hotel St. John's team members spent an amazing afternoon at the Ronald McDonald House there, preparing a delicious meal. They served ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetables, cupcakes, and a refreshing partridge berry drink!
Our colleagues at the Montreal Service Centre teamed up with the team at Le Germain Hotel Montreal to organize a food drive to support Moisson Montréal and help those in need.
As they do every year, Le Germain and Alt Hotels in Quebec hosted events to raise funds for Centraide and support their local communities.
At Le Germain Charlevoix Hotel & Spa, the team contributed by collecting non-perishable goods for the Pro-Santé Community Centre of Baie-Saint-Paul.
On December 18, the team at Alt Hotel Quartier DIX30 volunteered their time at La Mosaïque, a volunteer action centre in Longueuil. They spent the entire afternoon preparing Christmas baskets!
