Parking
The Halifax Airport Authority offers three parking options:
- Parkade - Hourly: Ideal for short-term parking needs.
- Parkade - Daily: Ideal for long-term parking needs, overnight stays and 8 & 15 Days Parking Packages (See below).
- Terminal Exterior Parking Lot: Located just steps away from the terminal.
Alt Hotel Halifax Airport does not offer on-site overnight parking. Guests checking in or out can use the drop-off area with a 15-minute limit. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. Airport parking are to be used for all parking needs.
Bus
Halifax Transit offers public transport service in the city of Halifax, with several bus routes and two ferries connecting Dartmouth and Halifax.
Bus 320, which stops directly in front of the hotel, connects Halifax Airport to the city centre every hour and every half-hour during peak hours.

Need a place to store your luggage? The hotel now offers a storage service starting February 1st to make your travels easier.

What is the check-in time?
We prepare rooms for them to be ready at 3 pm. If you arrive earlier and your room is available, we will be happy to accommodate you with an early check-in. If your room is not ready, we have free luggage storage so that you can enjoy the city freely.
What is the checkout time?
Checkout time is set at 12:00 p.m. When you book directly with us, either through our website or by phone, a certain degree of flexibility may be available depending on hotel availability. Simply let us know your approximate departure time when booking your stay.
Certain days may be excluded.
Where can I store my luggage if my room is not ready when I arrive at the hotel?
We have free luggage storage available at all times in the lobby. Feel free to ask at the front desk if you need to leave your luggage with us for five minutes or a few hours.
If we arrive late, will our reservation be cancelled?
Late arrivals will not be cancelled. However, it is best to inform the hotel team of your expected arrival time, if possible, so that they are aware you will indeed be arriving.
