It is with enthusiasm that Christiane Germain, co-president and co-founder of Groupe Germain Hospitalité announced the appointment of Julie Brisebois to the position of General Manager, Marie Pier Germain to the position of Operations Manager and François Têtu to the position of Sales Manager, all within the new ALT Hotel that will soon open in downtown Montreal.
Julie Brisebois, General Manager
Julie is above all else a people person and has found in the hotel industry a place where she can realize her full potential. She made her debut in the field at Hôtel Le Germain Montréal before taking the helm of operations and then the position of General Manager at ALT Hotel Quartier Dix30. Her management skills and almost ten years of experience within Groupe Germain Hospitalité made her the perfect person to bring the new ALT Hotel Montréal Griffintown to life.
“The opening of a new hotel is the moment where we establish our first contact with the community and our guests. This first experience is what will make them want to come and stay with us every time they are in town,” explained Julie Brisebois, General Manager, ALT Hotel Montréal Griffintown. “Staff is largely responsible for ensuring that authentic experience and we will be completing the team this Saturday February 8th during our job fair where we plan to recruit more than twenty people in one day.”
Jobs fair: be the first to share the Alt Montréal Griffintown experience
In order to make the most dynamic people in the industry part of the adventure from day one, the team at ALT Hotel Montréal Griffintown is organizing a job fair, this Saturday February 8th from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Galerie d’art Lisabel. Several positions are available, including front desk supervisor, front desk agent, room attendant and banqueting coordinator. Candidates who wish to join the team at the very first ALT Hotel in Montreal are invited to come and meet members of the recruitment team directly onsite; no appointment needed!
Marie Pier Germain, Operations Manager
In terms of operations management, ALT Hotel Montréal Griffintown will be able to count on Marie Pier Germain’s innate sense of the client’s experience. It is this, along with her desire to forge direct contact with the clients and her commitment to the ALT Hotel banner that have led to her taking the helm of operations of this new hotel. A graduate of Queens University in Mechanical Engineering, Marie Pier oversaw teams of architects, designers and engineers working on the construction and renovation of hotels since she joined Groupe Germain Hospitalité in 2006.
François Têtu, Sales Manager
The management team will also count amongst its ranks a proud ambassador of the ALT Hotel banner and of the neighbourhood where the new hotel is located. François Têtu lives in Griffintown and believes strongly in the development potential the area represents. It is with great enthusiasm that he takes up this new professional challenge. François holds a degree in International Hotel and Resort Management from the University of South Australia. In 2007, he joined the team at Hotel Germain-des-Prés, now ALT Hotel Québec City before taking over sales at ALT Hotel Brossard Quartier Dix30 when it opened.
