The best of fall, the colourful season in Winnipeg

It's fall at the gates to the West! And true to form, Winnipeg has a lot to offer those who love culture and natural beauty, especially at this time of year when colours are in the spotlight.

Assiniboine Park

Walk the trails of Winnipeg's oldest park: Assiniboine Park. In the fall, the park's 445 hectares of grounds are filled with spectacular fall foliage thanks to the colourful leaves from thousands of mature trees. You will also find The Pavilion art gallery, where you can admire the largest collection of works by renowned Manitoba artists Ivan Eyre, Walter J. Phillips and Clarence Tillenius.

A Maze in Corn

A Maze in Corn is a Winnipeg area fall classic. It’s just a 15-minute drive south of the city to find the site which offers a variety of activities for the whole family. In addition to the maze, there is a small farm, a pumpkin barn and even a zip line!

Nuit Blanche

As part of Culture Days, experience a night out of the ordinary from September 24 to October 24, 2021 as part of Nuit Blanche. Various art galleries will showcase contemporary art by independent Winnipeg artists. This free evening tour is the perfect opportunity to discover the incredible talent of local artists.

Winnipeg Art Gallery: Nuliajuk's Story

Stories passed down by word of mouth, from one generation to the next, are the best way to learn more about Inuit culture. They are at the heart of the Nuliajuk's Story exhibition at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. This exhibition explores the multiple legends surrounding the life of Nuliajuk, the spirit of the sea, and how artists from different communities have expressed them. A great way to immerse yourself in this unique culture.

Thermëa Spa

When fall, the season of comfort, arrives, treat yourself to one of the many wellness services offered at Thermëa Spa. From massages to body care treatments, every experience will help you unwind in a natural setting. End your visit on a delicious note at the spa's restaurant, which offers a gourmet menu featuring fresh, local ingredients from the Winnipeg area.
