Sipping a beer in Saskatoon

Microbreweries are popular in Saskatoon! Here are a few suggestions of places to go and beers to drink when in town.

With all the grains produced in Saskatchewan, it is not surprising that microbreweries are numerous and popular there. Here are some good places, located near the Alt Hotel Saskatoon, that serve excellent local beers.

9-MILE LEGACY – 229, 20TH STREET WEST

Located on the popular 20th Avenue, this microbrewery is the perfect place to have a drink with friends or colleagues after work in a relaxed atmosphere with a lot of beers on tap. In the summer, cyclists can enjoy a beer on the bicycle patio in front of the brewery.

CONGRESS BEER HOUSE – 215, 2 AVENUE SOUTH

COHEN’S BEER REPUBLIC – 101, 20TH STREET WEST

SHELTER BREWING COMPANY – 255, 2 AVENUE SOUTH

A FEW LOCAL BEERS TO TRY:

Prairie White by Great Western

Wheat Burst by Black Bridge

Hefeweizen by 9-Mile

NE IPA by Shelter
