The most romantic Canadian city according to Clarah and Marie Pier Germain

The Germain cousins agree that Montreal is the most romantic city. Here's why.

CLARAH

For me, Montreal clearly wins the prize for romance. You can have a romantic weekend wandering around the parks, exploring art galleries and museums. You can eat at some of the best restaurants in the country (by the way, Matt and I fell in love with Beba recently). We can look at each other with stars in our eyes with a martini at Le Flâneur bar, sleep until noon and have breakfast in bed at Le Germain Hotel Montreal.

MARIE PIER

I am definitely not a romantic, however, here's what comes to my mind. I remember walking back to the Le Germain Hotel Montreal from Laurier Street via Parc Avenue in the middle of winter after having dinner at a restaurant. There was a little snow falling and the whole city was white, clean, and beautiful. It was not too cold. A perfect moment.

SOME IDEAS FOR A ROMANTIC DATE IN MONTREAL

A stroll through the streets of the Old Port.

A ferris wheel ride at sunset.

A couple massage at Bota Bota.

Skating hand in hand at Lafontaine Park.

A cooking class at Ateliers et Saveurs.

Have stars in your eyes at the Planetarium.

Visit the Van Gogh exhibition at the Arsenal.
