Benjamin Bridge's story

Benjamin Bridge's sparkling wines are making their mark everywhere in the country.

Growing certified organic grapes in the picturesque Gaspereau Valley, acclaimed sparkling wine house Benjamin Bridge’s location is no coincidence—the proximity and record-setting tidal activity of the neighbouring Bay of Fundy creates a unique microclimate perfectly suited for pursuing world-class sparkling wines.

They’ve pioneered this style in Nova Scotia since 1999, with the inaugural vintage in 2002. Historically only open by appointment, as the team focused on their craft and keeping up with demand, their doors are now fully open to visitors for an immersive experience amongst the tanks and barrels. Of note? Their non-vintage traditional method sparkling wine, ‘NV,’ made with reserve wines patiently set aside, and ‘Nova 7.’ “We like to believe its record-breaking popular success is based on the wine’s electric freshness and drinkability,” says head winemaker Jean-Benoit Deslauriers.
